...The National Weather Service in Norman OK has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Oklahoma...

Cimarron River near Ripley affecting Payne County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cimarron River near Ripley.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to late Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Places along the Cimarron River valley in
Payne County are briefly flooded to depths of about a foot.
Agricultural lands and oil wells located near the river banks are
inundated or cut off by water in side channels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 15.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
- Forecast...The Cimarron River is expected to rise above flood
stage late this afternoon to a crest of 18.4 feet early
Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Friday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
